You Love Us were looking for a simple way to streamline clients into three pricing packages — I suggested four, and used simple, short four word headlines separated into two sentences for the tl;dr crowd, coupled with a friendly, approachable — essentially human — vibe over longer copy.
The “Two Words. Two Words.” headline approach is punchy and powerful and has always been very popular with clients. It can feel over-used these days, but the use of bold formatting breathes new life into the copy.
It was essential to convey the niche / boutique nature of YLU in positive terms. I did this by placing an emphasis on creativity (“no support staff = more, for less”) and explaining the additional value offered by the telephone / email support only packages.
